The Story of The Pig Room

Founding Story
Our founder, Austin has been incredibly passionate about guinea pigs ever since he was a kid. Dating all the way back to when he was 15, he would spend countless hours watching guinea pig videos on YouTube which led him to get his very own, whose names were Snickers and Fudge. Austin lived in New York from 2017-2021 and during his move he had planned to designate an entire room in his house to his 10 pigs at the time. In his conversations with friends about the renovating, he called the room, The Pig Room and low and behold, the brand was discovered! Austin now owns 17 of his own precious pigs each coming with their own personalities and quirks.
Our Mission
The Pig Room’s mission is simple, to make products we know your pigs will enjoy and one’s that will keep them happy, safe and healthy! It’s an unfortunate reality that we can walk into any pet store and be met with several products that are unsafe for guinea pigs, but marketed as otherwise.
